About Indoor Weather

I make art about the weather we carry inside.

The thoughts that follow us home. The feelings we struggle to name. The strange experience of looking calm while something much larger moves beneath the surface.

Indoor Weather gives those invisible experiences a physical form. Water becomes a state of mind. A familiar figure becomes something unexpected. An ordinary scene opens into a world that feels a little impossible, yet somehow recognizable.

I’m drawn to the space where beauty, discomfort, and humor meet. A person can seem overwhelmed and composed at the same time. An image can make you smile before it makes you think. I want my work to leave room for all of those responses.

The collection brings together surreal imagery, textured surfaces, and recurring elements of water and reflection. Each piece offers a starting point, but its meaning can shift with the person looking at it. What feels like pressure to one person might feel like release to another.

My mission is to make art that helps us recognize something of ourselves. Art that gives a feeling somewhere to live, starts a conversation, or makes a room feel more personal.

You don’t need to find the “right” interpretation. If a piece reminds you of a moment, puts a feeling into focus, or simply makes you want to keep looking, that connection matters.

Welcome to Indoor Weather.

A place for what’s happening beneath the surface.
